Purpose
To hold or clamp wireline / slickline at surface during fishing operations.
Description
BT Round Fishing Clamps are made up of 5 components:
1. Top Plate 2. Bottom Plate 3. Insert 4. Allen Cap Screw 5. Flat Head Screw
Application
The BT Round Line Clamp is used when there is a desire to lubricate broke Slickline / Wireline from the wellbore. The BT Round Line Clamp utilizes a 5/8” SR thread which will attach to the bottom of a standard tool string, which then may be drawn up inside the lubricator.
Operation
Extract Allen Cap Screws from the top and bottom plates so the clamp be separated into two parts.
Ensure proper sized inserts are installed into the clamp before installing around the line.
Install around the line, ensuring the slickline / wireline is aligned in the centre of the inserts. Install Allen Cap Screws into the top and bottom plates and tighten. This will hold the line stationary.
