The Extended B Probe is a wireline equipment used to manipulate the lock dogs on a BKO style top no-go or bottom no-go style lock mandrel to allow dogs to collapse. This allows an assembly to be removed from a profile, or tubing collar. The Extended B Probe allows all lock dogs of a selective (type S) to be retracted if necessary.
